“We didn't need board CapEx approval or a six-month capital budgeting cycle. The BonafideR fleet arrived on Monday and our pickers were hitting double quota by Thursday. When peak volume ended, we adjusted our fleet size without write-down penalties.”
Facility Background & Operational Solution
Nordway Logistics manages multi-client fulfillment across consumer goods, apparel, and electronics. Prior to BonafideR, rapid volume swings caused severe order throttling during holiday sales events.
By replacing the traditional $2.2M CapEx investment with BonafideR’s turnkey monthly subscription ($1,850/unit/month), Nordway achieved operational breakeven on Day 1. The all-inclusive subscription removed all parts replacement and field engineering liabilities.
Today, the fleet operates across two shifts with 24/7 remote operations telemetry actively monitoring battery cell impedance and drive motor thermal profiles, preventing unexpected line stops.
Technical Integration & Architecture Notes
Integrated via BonafideR Core Gateway on-premise container connected to Manhattan Associates WMS REST APIs. Static IP allocation over private industrial Wi-Fi VLAN. Dynamic dynamic zone de-confliction allowing 14 AMRs to share 8-foot narrow pick aisles with human order pickers without stopping flow.
